Secretariat

PLEASE NOTE:

This is the old website for Future Earth Norway, which was hosted by the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo from June 2015 to April 2017.

As at May 2017, the secretariat is hosted by the  Research Council of Norway. The new website can be found here.

From June 2015-May 2017, Future Earth Norway was supported by a Secretariat based at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo. The main task of the Secretariat was to catalyze, coordinate, and organize initiatives and activities for Future Earth Norway, provide platforms for dialogue and collaboration, and communicate global change research on the national and international level. The secretariat also served as the national contact point for Future Earth and other international and regional initiatives for global change research.

Leonie Goodwin was the Project Coordinator in the secretariat from August 2016-May 2017. She came to Norway in 2015 from the PAGES (Past Global Changes) project, a Future Earth research project headquartered in Bern, Switzerland.
