As part of the Odyssée Saint-Laurent research programme, Réseau Québec Maritime is recruiting an employee to operate and coordinate the programme’s activities. The selected candidate will plan, organise, develop and carry out activities to further the mission and objectives adopted by the RQM Executive Committee. This person will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the programme’s operations, while also coordinating the implementation of the scientific plan in the short and long term.
Odyssée Saint-Laurent is a programme of the new France-Quebec Maritime Institute for scientific cooperation in support of the maritime sector. The programme is divided into three projects: the Découverte project (acquisition of strategic knowledge), the Applications site (design of tools, technologies and practices) and the Innovation project (decision-making and governance). It is an inter-sectoral approach to bring together researchers and stakeholders from across the marine community. The programme also aims to work with coastal communities that are affected by climate change or increased shipping activity.
