European Space Agency - Future Earth Liaison Officer

Cat Downy is seconded from Future Earth to the European Space Agency's Climate Office, ECSAT, UK.

She has worked in the field of climate change science for over 10 years. Her primary focus has been on bringing together large, interdisciplinary projects to integrate research on Earth system science. In her current role, based at the European Space Agency’s Climate Office, she is responsible for developing new initiatives for exploiting ESA data with Future Earth, as well as the management and development of ESA's Climate Change Initiative programme
