Researchers from the Global Environmental Change community are invited to contribute to an online survey on emerging issues in sustainable development for the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) team.
The identification and description of emerging issues constitutes an ongoing part of the preparation of the GSDR. For reference, emerging issues work carried out for the 2015 edition of the GSDR is reflected in chapter 7 of the report.
In order to advance this work, you are invited to enter potential emerging issues via a Google form. Submissions are anonymous.
Once a list of potential emerging issues has been gathered, the GSDR team intends to engage a selected group of experts in an iterative process, with a view to arriving at a more concise set of issues.
The 2015 Global Sustainable Development Report was launched in June 2015 and contributed to the 2015 session of the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development. Extensive inputs was sought from the UN system, government officials and stakeholders at all levels, including representatives of academies of sciences, of key international assessments, and relevant UN expert groups.
