TRANSFER FROM BERN TO THUN
A pre-paid group booking has been made for the 8:30 AM train for the morning of 29 June.
Please be at the Bern railway station at 8:15.
If you miss the train, you will have to pay for the new ticket yourself.
The train station is a short walk from the hotels.

Accommodations in Bern:
A block booking of up to 90 rooms has been made at four hotels. All hotels are centrally located in Bern at just a few minutes walking distance from the railway station. Further information about travel arrangements and accommodation will be sent by email.

Travel

The city of Bern is near the intercontinental airports of Zurich, Geneva and Basel. Train ride from Zurich, Geneva or Basel to Bern takes approximately 1 – 2 hours. Trains leave every hour/half-hour.

Bern’s small airport has only a few regular international flights from/to European destinations. In both Zurich and Geneva airports, the train station is located inside the airport. In Basel airport, a shuttle bus links the airport to the Basel train station. From Basel train station you can take a train to Bern.

Train ride from Zurich airport will take about 1 h 40 min. Trains leave about every half-hour.
