International Forum on Disruptive Low Carbon Innovations - Inaugural Workshops

7-8 March 2017

To launch a new international forum on disruptive low carbon innovations, Future Earth and the Tyndall Centre organised two workshops in London on March 7th & 8th, 2017, with the financial support of the UK Science & Innovation Network.

The first workshop on March 7th brought together over 40 innovators and practitioners working on energy, transport, food, housing and cities to identify common drivers and barriers to disruptive low carbon innovation, and the need for supportive policy and regulation. The second workshop on March 8th involved researchers from diverse fields discussing the key elements of a research agenda on how disruptive innovation may contribute to climate change mitigation.

A synthesis report from both workshops is available here and further detail and the speaker presentations are below.
