Daniel is a science communications specialist with a background in writing about the environment and sustainability.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and graduated from the Science Communication Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. As a science writer, Daniel has covered a range of issues in environmental and climate science, tackling stories on collapsing coastlines in Alaska and biodiversity loss around the Chesapeake Bay. His articles have appeared in Science, Science News for Students, Conservation magazine, and other publications. He’s produced numerous podcasts about scientific research and policy and goes nowhere without his audio recorder.
